History of Burger king
Burger King first opened its doors in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1954. The restaurant was originally called Insta-Burger King and was founded by Keith J. Kramer and Matthew Burns. However, the name was changed to Burger King in 1955 after the company encountered legal trouble with another restaurant chain called Insta-Broilers. The Whopper sandwich was first introduced in 1957 and has been one of the most popular menu items ever since.
