I've always known what the wrong types of foods were for me (red meat, dairy, gluten and refine sugar) but they were a part of my life so I never really got rid of them completely. Sure, I was careful not to eat too much of it, but I never thought I'd survive without any of those foods. Urban Detox Club gave me the final push. I love my new foods - avocados, black beans, quinoa, kale and almond butter. All vegetables and fruits just taste better after the detox. It truly gives your system a good cleaning - I LOVED it!
The added bonus: I had been battling for months to lose a dress size but no matter how much exercise and good eating I did, I could not shed the extra pound. But by the end of the second detox week, I did!!! I decided to continue for another two weeks and sure enough, I lost another half size!

I highly recommend trying this detox at least once and really sticking with it. I think it's really important to give our bodies a break from all the highly processed, sugary, acidic food we consume. Even foods we think are ok can actually be pretty harsh on our bodies and UDC helped me understand that.
